Perfectly contoured wedding rings, exquisitely crafted
"A shaped wedding ring goes beyond a traditional plain band— it’s a perfect match to your engagement ring, shaped to fit and contoured to fit your engagement ring in seamless harmony."
Serendipity Diamonds is a bespoke jeweller specialising in shaped wedding rings as just one example of custom ring styles available. Their service combines over 30 years of experience creating wedding rings for both brides and grooms.
Types of Fitted Bands
These are just some of the different styles available depending on the shaped of your existing engagement ring.

Contoured Rings
A contoured wedding ring is defined by the shaped of the original engagement ring. The shape flows around one side of the ring, contoured to fit.

Shadow Bands
A shadow band is a wedding ring designed to hug the engagement ring like a shadow. The shape follows the outline of the engagement ring and provides an aesthetically pleasing pairing between both rings.

Wishbone Wedding Rings
Wishbone shaped wedding rings contour with a pronounced "V" shaped, created in both plain and diamond set variation to fit around your diamond setting.

Notched or Recessed
A notched, recessed or indented wedding ring fits alongside an engagement ring with a cutout or recessed section to accommodate the setting of an engagement ring.
Commissioning your ring design
How are contoured wedding rings made?
At Serendipity Diamonds, we use the latest innovations to create perfectly fitted wedding rings. The entire process takes between 4-5 weeks during which time we scan your engagement ring to create a CAD model of your fitted band.
The next step involves the creation of a physical model used to cast the final ring. We suggest matching the precious metal along with other style elements. The result is a matching pair of wedding rings shaped to fit and styled into a pair of beautifully matching rings.
