Silver Isle of Wight 'Caulkhead' Necklace

The Isle of Wight 'Caulkhead' necklace is handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver as a beautiful keepsake of the Isle of Wight. The name 'Caulkhead' applies to an Islander with a three-generation Island heritage on both sides, but derives from shipyards when vessels were caulked to seal and waterproof the boats—a skill found amongst many islanders working on both the Isle of Wight and UK mainland. 

This handmade necklace has been hand-stamped in our Ryde showroom and is, a unique and quirky keepsake. The design features, a book-styled typeface, with nibbled, textured edges around a rectangular 925 Sterling Silver rectangular pendant. 

The necklace measures 4.5cm x 1cm and includes an 18-inch Sterling Silver curb chain with a Tiffany-green presentation box.
