We purchase items of scrap jewellery and provide a fair price based upon the day's current metal prices. Wherever possible we will provide a guide to price on the same day, but will advise on the best days to visit and to bring your jewellery along.

Unlike many other jewellers, we always try to recycle or repurpose scrap items of jewellery. Some of the items we purchase go through extensive, repair, refurbishment and eventually go to new owners as cherished items of jewellery.

A few of the common questions we are asked about buying gold and items of jewellery.
Will you buy my engagement ring?
We purchase engagement rings, but often recommend sellers try selling privately in the first instance to achieve the best price possible. Because we purchase based upon scrap prices, the value might be more than we are prepared to offer.
Do you buy Sovereign rings?
Whilst we are not coin dealers, we do purchase sovereign rings. Prices are based on the scrap value of the ring mount and coin held within the design.
Do you buy broken items of Gold?
Yes. Regardless of the condition of jewellery items, we can offer a price for your Gold. We will either scrap items and offer a cash price, or we will repurpose some designs for use in our jewellery repair workshop.
Will you value my jewellery?
If you would like us to value your jewellery to buy, we will provide this service. For insurance valuations, see our separate page on this service and the associated costs.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your items of jewellery. Ideally we ask that you call us ahead of your visit, to ensure the appropriate member of our team is available to discuss your jewellery. We typically ask for Identification as part of the process to ensure that we are purchasing legitimate items and to prevent the trade of stolen goods.
How does it work?
Bring your jewellery along when you visit. Smaller quantities can be valued on the day depending on how busy we are. Larger amounts we may ask you to leave with us to assess. Once assessed, we will advise you on a total purchase price which can be transferred same day by bank transfer or settled by cash payment.
Are there any other options?
Some clients decide to remodel items of unwanted or unworn jewellery. Contact us to arrange an appointment in our mezzanine area of the website and to discuss jewellery remodelling into a new design.
How much do you pay for Gold?
We base our prices on the day's current scrap prices—offering as close to the scrap price as possible. Our prices typically work out higher than other online Gold buyers. For local sellers there is also a benefit of selling on the Isle of Wight instead of posting items away.
