Where Can you Buy a Ring for Your Lab-Grown Diamond?

Ring mounts and settings for your own lab-grown diamond

As part of our many services, we create finished ring mounts and settings for anyone with their lab-grown diamond. Surprisingly, some jewellers insist on creating the entire ring—supplying both the diamond (or gemstone) and ring mount to hold the stone.

Many years ago, we introduced the service to set existing natural diamonds into a new setting through this service. Now, years later, this service includes adding lab-grown diamonds into a ring mount.

But how do you choose a ring mount for a lab-grown diamond?

First, clients have their own lab-grown diamond (we can also supply any lab-grown diamond as part of your commission). Next, they contact us with the shape and measurement of their diamond, taken from the certificate.

Our ring designs are featured in our expansive showroom collection of rings. Some clients choose to book an appointment to view rings in person. However, some buyers further away choose from our website, Serendipity Diamonds, where we feature a variety of diamond ring designs.

 Decide on your precious metal.

Next, decide on your precious metal. We provide all the advice you need to make the best decision. We create rings in Gold and Platinum, and we explain the pros and cons of each choice.

Arranging your tailored quote

Once we have your diamond details, location, ring design, precious metal choice, and finger size, we create a very detailed quote with optional extras, including a final insurance valuation and inward insurance when sending your diamond to us.

Timescale for finished ring mounts

Standard ring designs take around 4 weeks to create. The final steps involve setting your diamond and polishing your ring. Once completed, we check rings for quality (QC) and ensure the correct size. Buyers then arrange delivery or book an appointment to collect their finished diamond ring.

For bespoke rings, created specifically to hold your diamond size, timescales often run to 5-6 weeks, depending on the complexity.
