Bespoke Ouroboros Gold Snake Ring

Handcrafted from three of our client’s own 9ct gold rings, this bespoke Ouroboros ring gives sentimental jewellery a striking new form. The sculpted serpent curves around the finger to meet its tail, with detailed scales and two yellow sapphire eyes bringing character to the design.

Created for a local client through our Ryde showroom, this commission shows how gold you already treasure can become jewellery you look forward to wearing.

Three Rings, Reimagined

Our client brought us three gold rings she no longer wore. Their sentimental significance made keeping the original gold an essential part of the brief.

We melted down the rings and used the gold to create a serpent, shaping its body into a continuous circle. The finished piece bears little resemblance to the original jewellery, but preserves the connection our client wanted to keep.

Across the outer surface, defined scales follow the curve of the body towards the sculpted head. Two small yellow sapphires add a warm glint to the eyes, complementing the gold without distracting from the snake’s features.

A Circle of Renewal
